What is Chemistry???
*Chemistry, a branch of physical science, is the study of the composition, structure, properties and change of matter.
*Chemistry is chiefly concerned with atoms and molecules and their interactions and transformations, for example, the properties of the chemical bonds formed between atoms to create chemical compounds.
*As such, chemistry studies the involvement of electrons and various forms of energy in photochemical reactions, oxidation-reduction reactions, changes in phases of matter, and separation of mixtures.
*Preparation and properties of complex substances, such as alloys, polymers, biological molecules, and pharmaceutical agents are considered in specialized fields of chemistry.
What is Stoichiometry???
*Stoichiometry is the calculation of relative quantities of reactants and products in chemical reactions.
*Stoichiometry is founded on the law of conservation of mass where the total mass of the reactants equals the total mass of the products leading to the insight that the relations among quantities of reactants and products typically form a ratio of positive integers.
*This means that if the amounts of the separate reactants are known, then the amount of the product can be calculated.
*Conversely, if one reactant has a known quantity and the quantity of product can be empirically determined, then the amount of the other reactants can also be calculated.

Facts and Trivias
*Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide.
*Helium balloons float because helium is lighter than air.
*One bucket full of water contains more atoms than there are bucketfuls of water in the Atlantic ocean.
*Hydrofluoric acid is so corrosive that it will dissolve glass. Although it is corrosive, hydrofluoric acid is considered to be a 'weak acid'.
